A house, a shop, a sanctuary or a set of bins. The building decides most of the answer before anything else does.

Anything arcing, smoking, hot or wet is an emergency and gets treated as one. A dead outlet is not, and saying so saves you money.

Age of the panel, what has been added over the years, what keeps tripping. This is the part people apologise for and it is the useful part.

Since 1926, when Cecil Honea started the business selling and repairing appliances, radios and light fixtures alongside electrical contracting. The same family has run it ever since. Cecil's wife Mary Cecilia, known as Mamie, carried it through the Depression and the Second World War; their son James C. Honea, Sr. narrowed it to electrical contracting in the 1950s; his sons James Jr. and Michael came aboard in 1975; and Michael's son Christopher is the fourth generation working in it now.

We are an authorized Cummins Generator dealer, and we quote, install and service standby generators for commercial, residential and agricultural properties. We also service and repair generators from other manufacturers, so an existing unit does not have to be a Cummins for us to look at it.
